As of May 2007, this journal is friends only because I want to keep track of who's reading my journal. If you want to friend me, leave a comment and it's likely I'll add you back. ^^

This FILM, omg! )

On a completely random note, I'm going to apply for a job at The Daisy Freezer Centre tomorrow. Well, it's more handing in my CV and hoping that somebody notices and rings me back. I am desperate need of a job, I'm too poor! D: And I really, really want to go and see this film again!

Seeing as I will have so much spare time this summer to do ANYTHING I WANT (that sounds so appealing right now), I've decided to compile a Films To Watch List.

DVD )

Cinema )

I just stumbled over Gnomeo and Juliet as well, which made me LOL.

I might as well do a book list too while I'm at it...

Books )

They're rather pathetic looking lists at the moment. XD Any suggestions?

Meme from [info]siranan
you are aqua
#00FFFF

Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

The description sounds just like me, but my colour hurts my eyes.

The Klaxons and Rihanna pairing at The Brits was fantastic, I loved it. How does someone even think of putting them together? Rihanna looked beautiful. And I can't get over how incredibly pretty that keyboard guy off Klaxons is. <3

"Mr Sir Paul McCartney!" LOL.

Me and Jo have decided to go and see Muse live one day. I think the idea crossed my mind last year too, when I saw a clip of them from The Brits that looked amazing. She said she'd come online to upload their album for me but I can't find her, grr.

Ummm, yeah. That's all I had to say. XD

20 Phelps-heavy pictures for your viewing pleasure. Inspired by the Phelps Twin Thread of Doom with [info]tirwen_star03 and [info]sophieisgod yesterday, this picspam has quite an intense focus on the twins' Forearms of Heaven, brought to all our attentions by the ever wonderful Sophie. XD Honestly, look at the picspam and it will all make sense...

Simon Pegg breakdances! It is awesome.

I thought my Spaced obsession had died a little and been overruled by much more negative things, because I wasn't half as squeeful after watching episode 5 as I would've been last week. But getting distracted by YouTube (yet again) made me feel much better. Tim's hats amuse me.

German oral is over and done with! I thought I'd feel more relieved, really. It went okay... there was just a horrible bit in the middle where she asked me to describe a TV show. I went completely blank and kept saying 'um' followed by nothing for about forever. The more I think about it, the worse I think it was. But oh well.

I need to take a leaf out of [info]pinkamethyst's very wise and all-knowing book. Being relaxed is the key to surviving exams. Therefore, I may buy Spaced DVDs to watch during study leave, so I'll have something to keep me from stressing out.

I didn't like last night's Doctor Who. I can't quite put my finger on it, but there was something really offputting about the whole thing.

'Any Dream Will Do' was pretty good - way better than the Grease version. I was watching it with my cousins and we all really liked Chris C! It's so cruel telling them who came last in the public vote, when it actually has no impact on who leaves. Not to mention he'll probably be stuck with insecurities about being 'too skinny for Joseph' for the rest of his life. Poor guy.

I discovered that my cousin Becky is a comedy genius btw. She was telling us a little anecdote from her school ski trip last week: one of her friends managed to break the wardrobe in the hotel room, resulting in the entire back of the wardrobe falling off. And then she observed: "We can go to Narnia now!" I thought it was hilarious XD

I need to watch 'Spaced' some day. Has anyone else ever seen it? I only discovered it yesterday after they showed about 30 seconds worth of clips on '50 Greatest Comedy Characters', but I think I love it already. People whose lives play out like films and TV shows as a result of having watched too many of them seems like something I can relate to. And Simon Pegg is the coolest.

'Black Books' and 'State of Play' are also on my watching list, although they'll probably have to wait until the summer. Thank God for YouTube - I'm running out of space on my hard drive. [info]gingersuzal is completely obsessed with 'Black Books' and it does look pretty awesome (Bill Bailey w00!) - it's just finding the time to watch all this stuff that's the problem.
