This FILM, omg! )

On a completely random note, I'm going to apply for a job at The Daisy Freezer Centre tomorrow. Well, it's more handing in my CV and hoping that somebody notices and rings me back. I am desperate need of a job, I'm too poor! D: And I really, really want to go and see this film again!

Seeing as I will have so much spare time this summer to do ANYTHING I WANT (that sounds so appealing right now), I've decided to compile a Films To Watch List.

DVD )

Cinema )

I just stumbled over Gnomeo and Juliet as well, which made me LOL.

I might as well do a book list too while I'm at it...

Books )

They're rather pathetic looking lists at the moment. XD Any suggestions?

Philip Glenister is so cool. It's so typical that I start watching Life On Mars just as it's about to finish. *sigh*

'The Prestige' is a pretty good film. Actually, it's really good, but just a little morbid for my liking. And I had to concentrate to keep up. lol. There is a huge twist at the end that I never saw coming... but that's all I'm saying.

I think my TV and film-watching is drastically outweighing the revision proportion of my Easter holiday so far. I've made a revision timetable thing (but only after I started panicking because Ali described how much she was planning on doing over these couple of weeks). I'm concentrating on my language orals first, and then I'll probably get round to the rest of the revision when study leave starts. I think I shall have to take a break from Internet when study leave comes.

I have a new layout! To be honest, I'm not entirely sure I like it that much. I may make another one in the Easter holidays. But with the weather finally feeling like spring, my Doctor Who layout seemed a little out of season.

I'm really looking forward to study leave now. Gina's managed to get me all excited about having all the spare time (can't spend it all working, can I?). I'm planning to catch up on all the Skins episodes I've missed, watch Life On Mars S1, watch the most recent series of Top Gear and work backwards from there... and try and get through my film list.

Me, Gina and Jo are already planning a couple of days in the holidays dedicated to movie watching. :D We're going for a couple of 'intellectual' films ('A Beautiful Mind' and 'The Last King of Scotland') on one day, and then some fluffier films ('Little Miss Sunshine' and 'Starter For Ten') on another. I can't wait for the extra long summer holiday.

I want to go to the cinema again. I think 'Amazing Grace' is probably next on the list, and then 'Mr Bean's Holiday', hehe. :D

Too many films I want to see, nowhere near enough time. Damn all this coursework. This weekend I need to do Food Tech, next week I have Maths, and then maybe I'll have time to see 'Hot Fuzz' at the cinema. I've heard it's really funny, so it's just a matter of convincing everyone else that they want to come watch it with me. :D

I have to find time somewhere in between to buy Millie's birthday present. We're planning to go and see 'Becoming Jane' - yay James McAvoy! - for her birthday. I only saw the trailer last night but it doesn't look too bad, and as I previously mentioned... James McAvoy. (Need to watch 'The Last King of Scotland' when it comes out on DVD. At least that way I'll have cushions ready to hide behind.)

Anyway, here is my film list of stuff I would like to see this year (ones I've seen are in bold):

probably will have to wait until after GCSEs of course... )

Busy year.

Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat was AMAZING. My first musical! We were singing the songs all the way back lol :D They are catchier than I first thought! I would definitely go and see it again.

And now, for a whole bunch of memes :D

We went to see 'The Pursuit of Happyness' today. Came out suffering slightly from motion sickness. All in all, it was pretty good, apart from the camera incessantly jiggling about and making us all feel queasy. The majority of the film was depressing, but the end was sweet and they really make you love the characters. Will Smith is the best. And his little son! Aww, I wanted to hug him so much.

The trailers looked really good. 'Epic Movie' looks really funny. :D 'Music and Lyrics' looked pretty good too, but it seems more like a DVD movie rather than something I want to see at the cinema. However, I will defnitely be going to watch Spider-Man 3 when it comes out! Nobody else seems to agree, but I think it looks great.

I feel wrecked. The geography homework effectively drained me earlier, so I thought a break on the internet might do me some good. Turns out it made me feel worse. Ugh.

I watched Ice Age again last night on tv. I love that film, it always makes me laugh. And then Sweet Home Alabama was on afterwards. It was quite a sweet film, I liked it. Those kinds of romantic comedies are always so much better than all the rubbish aimed at teenagers (i.e. ones with Ryan Reynolds in *shudder*).

I had no idea that John Barrowman used to present Live & Kicking! 'It Started With Swap Shop' last night made me feel very... young. Better than old of course, but still. I remember Zoe Ball and Jamie Theakston on Live & Kicking and everything onwards from there (as well as Andi Peters and Gordon the Gopher vaguely), but nothing of an American bloke in an elf costume.

I'm going to a panto tomorrow! (Feeling more youthful by the second. :P) I'm going with Anna (my 3-year old cousin) to see Snow White. I haven't been to a panto in years, so it should be fun. :D And then in January we're going to see Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat for Becky's 15th birthday. I've never been too keen on musicals but then again, I've never seen one live at the theatre.

Speaking of musicals... I finally watched High School Musical! American high school is all very melodramatic. But yeah, I admit I quite liked it despite (or maybe because of) its cheesiness.

This year I am determined to watch some Christmas films. I still have never seen The Nightmare Before Christmas, because we watched the Bourne Identity at Isha's last year instead. Which is really my own Robert Pattinson's fault, because I was too hyper about GoF to pay attention to the film that I'd suggested watching. We also wanted to watch The Muppets Christmas Carol at Jo's at some point too, but they scare Gina. lol.

There are also a million things I want to see at the cinema, including James Bond (which we're watching on Sunday); Flushed Away (with Hugh Jackman!); Happy Feet (finally a film both me and Haps agree on); and the new Ben Stiller film with Ricky Gervais, A Night at the Museum. It looks pretty funny, so hopefully it won't require too much dragging of my friends to come watch it.

I don't think I'll be going to see Eragon. The guy in it has a really awesome voice too - reminds me a little of Robert Pattinson. But the film looks crap.
