Meme from [info]siranan
you are aqua
#00FFFF

Your dominant hues are green and blue. You're smart and you know it, and want to use your power to help people and relate to others. Even though you tend to battle with yourself, you solve other people's conflicts well.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

The description sounds just like me, but my colour hurts my eyes.

The Klaxons and Rihanna pairing at The Brits was fantastic, I loved it. How does someone even think of putting them together? Rihanna looked beautiful. And I can't get over how incredibly pretty that keyboard guy off Klaxons is. <3

"Mr Sir Paul McCartney!" LOL.

Me and Jo have decided to go and see Muse live one day. I think the idea crossed my mind last year too, when I saw a clip of them from The Brits that looked amazing. She said she'd come online to upload their album for me but I can't find her, grr.

Ummm, yeah. That's all I had to say. XD

I have a new layout! To be honest, I'm not entirely sure I like it that much. I may make another one in the Easter holidays. But with the weather finally feeling like spring, my Doctor Who layout seemed a little out of season.

layout screenshot )

I'm really looking forward to study leave now. Gina's managed to get me all excited about having all the spare time (can't spend it all working, can I?). I'm planning to catch up on all the Skins episodes I've missed, watch Life On Mars S1, watch the most recent series of Top Gear and work backwards from there... and try and get through my film list.

Me, Gina and Jo are already planning a couple of days in the holidays dedicated to movie watching. :D We're going for a couple of 'intellectual' films ('A Beautiful Mind' and 'The Last King of Scotland') on one day, and then some fluffier films ('Little Miss Sunshine' and 'Starter For Ten') on another. I can't wait for the extra long summer holiday.

I want to go to the cinema again. I think 'Amazing Grace' is probably next on the list, and then 'Mr Bean's Holiday', hehe. :D

And finally, a meme courtesy of the lovely [info]teenagelogic:

  • School is annoying. I felt completely exhausted after finally finishing my Pride and Prejudice coursework last night yet it seemed like my eyes had been glued open so I couldn't actually get to sleep. Now we're diving straight into Speaking and Listening coursework, where we have to sit in a little group in front of the rest of the class and discuss a topic for 10 minutes. We basically just improvise. Only problem is, I suck at talking under pressure without a script. Disaster is on the horizon.

  • Still obsessing somewhat over Mock the Week. Still doing David Mitchell's little pointing thing. :P Jo said that since she's started watching Mock the Week nonstop, her general speaking abilities have improved because it's rubbing off on her. Therefore, I plan to start watching some episodes from the first series to give me a vocab boost too and hopefully it will prepare me a little more for the discussion. Might as well use the evils of coursework to my advantage. ;o)

  • The O.C. has turned weird. The plotline for the Chrismukkah episode was about alternate universes. I know that The O.C. has never been 100% credible, but I expected it to be a little more plausible than that.

  • The Nintendo Wii is amazing. Makes your arms ache for days, but it is cool.

  • Grey's Anatomy is finally coming to Channel 5! It seems like they've been showing it on Sky for ages, but forgot that some people still have normal TV/Freeview.

  • *falls over laughing* [info]teenagelogic is "*is too busy giving out stun-guns to the lesbians to answer*". (Cross-dressing Harold Perrineau... Leonardo DiCaprio's acting skillz... it makes sense to us.)

OH MY GOD MOCK THE WEEK. I never realised how much funny stuff they cut out of the normal shows! I literally jumped out of my seat in excitement when Frankie mentioned slash fiction lmao. If I were him, I would be quite disturbed. :P

After seeing David Mitchell's little "ba-dom-bom *point*" thing, Gina and I were repeatedly doing it across the classroom at Jo today. It's fun.

I'm sure I've forgotten loads of other really funny bits... all I remember is loving it. :D We're determined to get Millie and Ali watching it too. The more people to squee with, the better!

2 DAYS. Jo's gotten me all intrigued as to what her present is. All I know is that it has a long bit (that is not spiky) and is hard to wrap. Daleks crossed my mind, but it definitely isn't one of those.

I like birthdays. :D [info]milliethebaker[info]milliethepotter made me a cake! Chocolate sponge topped with melted chocolate, which was decorated with splodges of piped white chocolate (saying happy birthday to ME :D). It was really pretty (and even tastier). Haps has a photo of it on her phone - she said she'd put it on her computer and upload it onto her space, but no sign of it as yet. But I can assure you, it's as good as better than the stuff in the shops. Millie's too good to me. :P

And there are also only 73 days 4 hours 53 minutes 50 seconds until Christmas. YAAAAAAAAAY CHRISTMAS I CANNOT WAIT. :D

Luiz Nazário de Lima = Ronaldo (the good one).

How do you possibly get 'Ronaldo' from a name like that? :S

And also, Kaka is now renamed 'Cookie', thanks to Jo's crash course in Brazilian footballers in Swedish.

"I think I spent the whole article just GRINNING the whole time. Paul Bettany > everything." [info]in_purple_skies

ETA: This is the article that caused all the grinning, by the way. :P

Today has also seen the discovery of the source of Heath Ledger's flawless English accent power: Australia. :P I always had the vague notion that he was Australian, but I was never quite sure. I really have to finish watching A Knight's Tale. And also finish hating that evil woman in it.

So... apparently I have 243 different screams... which Jo and Gina can differentiate between. That was certainly news to me. O.o

I've just been informed that my journal is going to be 'friggin hilarious'. After I posted a reply babbling about squirrels and immune system enhancing nuts. (No, don't worry, there is nothing wrong with either your sight or your reading skills, I'm pretty sure you read that correctly. Unless there is something wrong with either your sight or your reading skills, in which case... you didn't.)

The 'friggin hilarious' comment may have something to do with cityers, Hercules, a stretcher (or other mighty medical term), a doctor who's out cold at this very moment in time (ha!) and a house that fell on him... which could explain why he's out cold. Am I babbling now?!
