Heh, I think I have successfully converted into a sort-of Take That fan. I'd have thought they were a bit past it by now, but they seem the same as I remember. Even if I can only remember them when they were about to split up. lol.

Anyway, first day back to normal lessons again and we had our exam results from all three subjects of today. I managed 90% in Biology!! :D I got 67% overall for Maths, which was mirculously still an A. And finally I got 68% in Geography. It worked out as a B, but I was ecstatic considering I'd completely missed out a 25-mark question. So rather pleased so far. *g*

Christmas Music Post!

It's about time I started getting that Christmas feeling. :D

Five are making a comeback! They were my favourite band for ages in middle school... I still love Keep On Movin'. :P Except that they're back with four members, so it doesn't make as much sense as it used to.

There is too much to do tonight: German, Maths, History (which I need to do today so I can concentrate on English tomorrow), and watching David Tennant on Who do you think you are? (it's a necessity!). I would watch Liverpool v. Galatasaray but they're not showing it on normal TV. :o( Just as well I suppose - I need as few distractions as possible or else I'll never get anything done haha.

I've had enough distractions for the day from making my new icon... inspired after the attempt to convert my flist to ♥ing Xabi Alonso. :D

I am determined to get Amy listening to The Kooks. (And also back on LJ. Go, Amy, go!) Deprived of everything over in New Zealand, she must hear the awesomeness! I got their album at the weekend, and love it. It is so Amy's kind of thing. :D

And :O 'She Moves In Her Own Way' just came on the radio! Coincidence? No. We have decided that it was FATE. :P

The McFly concert last night was the BEST! The atmosphere was incredible, and I was so hyper lmao - couldn't stop bouncing and screaming and everything :D:D:D

I loved it when they did 5 Colours, with a bit of American Idiot in the middle! \m/ And Dougie was just adorable. Aww, you just wanna hug him ^_^ And naturally, Harry was amazing. :P And the others of course... it was just brilliant all round! And I managed to take lots and lots of pictures. :D

And Amy, there is no way you can convince me to hate them!! I seem to be on a roll recently with converting people into luffing the stuff I luff (mwaha, eg. Becky ---> Lost and McFly; Gina ---> Boone; probably something else I've forgotten knowing me :P) so maybe it's time I do a little persuading in Amy's direction... :P

Wow, Live 8 was fantastic! Coldplay, Razorlight and Snow Patrol were great. I missed most of the first half because I was at my keyboard lesson and getting Haps' present etc (which I got a bit carried away with when it came to wrapping - it's going to take forever to open). I managed to catch the good bits though, and stuff that I missed which they showed again.

Mariah Carey was really good with that African Children's Choir - they were really sweet, representing 11 million orphaned children in Africa, if I remember right. And Robbie Williams did sing Angels in the end, even though he said he wouldn't, and it was so good! I love that song, reminds me of the old days lol. He had a cane, which of course reminded me immediately of House. The atmosphere looked incredible - I can see why everyone wanted to be there so much. And Peter Kay was hilarious :D You could see this guy behind him who was trying to move all the equipment yelling at someone 'get him off, get him off!' :D

I managed to see a bit of the one in Philadelphia. All the people there looked completely exhausted! To me, the people in London looked like they were enjoying it more. Will Smith's performance was good though, when he started doing the Fresh Prince theme tune with Jazz! I haven't heard it for so long, it was good to hear it again.

Even though they said they're doing it to raise awareness, Jonathan Ross was still hinting at donations and things. Still, all for a good cause.

Glastonbury looked amazing last night! Coldplay and Razorlight were fantastic. I never really got what the big deal about Glastonbury was before, but I finally understand now and I can definitely see why everybody wants tickets! :D I'd forgotten how brilliant Coldplay's older songs were like Yellow, The Scientist and In My Place. It was great to hear them again! And they did Kylie's Can't Get You Out of my Head (lmao), which Chris Martin should never attempt ever again. :D
